We set out to build a cleaning company. Automation changed everything.

My passion for robotics and industrial automation is what led me to look at facility maintenance differently. The original idea was straightforward: launch a real cleaning company in the Lévis area. Teams, contracts, a local client base. A service that businesses and warehouses in the region clearly needed.

The reality on the ground caught up with us fast. Chronic absenteeism, the challenge of recruiting and keeping reliable staff, logistics that piled up hour by hour — all of it made traditional service quality impossible to guarantee consistently. We couldn't promise a client their floors would be clean the next morning, because too many human variables were out of our control.

That's when automation became the obvious answer. Not as a futuristic concept — as a concrete solution to a real problem. Locabot was built on that conviction: we can deliver a more reliable, more consistent, and more predictable maintenance service by operating turnkey automation systems. Our clients get a guaranteed outcome, not a best-effort promise.

This project is also a family affair. We believe local businesses deserve local solutions — a partner rooted in the same region, reachable quickly, genuinely invested in each client's success. Not a contract signed remotely with a multinational. That's the Locabot we're building, day by day, one installation at a time.
